POCKET ROCKET LAUNCHES
Former cycling champion Steve Joughin, the Mark Cavendish of his generation, will launch his autobiography at this year's Cycle Show, which takes place at Earl's Court, London, from October 7-10.
Steve will be at the show with his online cycling clothing company, Pro Vision, which is based in Stoke-on-Trent.
With the exploits of the likes of sprint ace Cav, Sir Chris Hoy, Nicole Cooke and Bradley Wiggins, cycling has rarely been as popular in the British Isles. Given that Steve was instrumental in paving the way for the current crop of riders, we're sure interest will be strong in the story of how he battled the stars of yesteryear - and what better place to launch the book than the Cycle Show, which last year drew more than 20,000 cycling enthusiasts through its doors.
